Overview on Work packages and the CAPRI-RD Tool |
|

The Common Agricultural Policy Regionalised Impact - the Rural Development Dimension (CAPRI-RD) project aims to develop and apply an operational, Pan-European tool to analyse the regional impacts of all policy measures under CAP Pillar I and II across a wide range of economic, social and environmental indicators.
The graph illustrates the main interactions between the various components of the final tool, the overall layout of which is defined in WP1 (management and integration). The left-hand side shows the different databases that will be populated and maintained in WP2. The middle column shows the interaction between the economic models (WP3), the down-scaling part and the indicator calculators (WP5). The economic models are driven by scenarios defined by the user board (WP8). In forward-looking policy analysis, that scenario will drive the models relative to a baseline defined in WP4. The impact assessment (WP6) will be based on the indicators developed in WP5, which are exploited via the GUI from the IT work package (WP7). The capacity building necessary to allow analysts to apply the tool is based on the training and dissemination activities in WP8.
