Overview

The 3-year research project (2006-2009) CCAT, financed by the EU under the 6th framework program, aims to develop an analytical tool that enables the integrated assessment of the impact of Cross Compliance (CC) at different geographical scales ranging from the European (markets) to regional and farm levels. Impacts assessed by the tool include effects on agricultural markets, producer’s income, land use, soil, water, air, climate, biodiversity and landscapes, as well as food safety, animal welfare and health. The consortium of eight European partners is co-ordinated by Alterra, Wageningen.
