Marcel Adenäuer is post-doc researcher at the Institute for Food and Resource Economics, University Bonn. His research focuses on the impacts of agricultural, environmental and trade policies on the agricultural sector, the environment and rural areas.

He is part of the develloper team of the CAPRI modelling system, which he also used for his PhD-thesis focussing on the future of the CMO Sugar. CAPRI is widely used for quantitative impact assessment of policies targeting the agricultural sector and applied in many research projects.

Dr. Adenäuer regularly consults the OECD and the FAO in the context of the OECD-FAO Agricultural Outlook, where he acquired profound knowledge about the AGLINK-COSIMO modelling system.
