On 18th April 2018, our first internal PhD student, Sukhada Khedkar, successfully defended her thesis titled “Assessing borderline products at the intersection of food and pharmaceuticals: A concise study using regulatory, industry and consumer perspectives”.

On 8th May 2018, Olivier Butkowski successfully defended his thesis titled "Consumer acceptance of biotechnology: The influence of product end-use, policy context and information framing."
On 29th May 2019, Silvan Berg sucessfully defended his thesis titled "Managing uncertainty in the process of technology development: An analysis at the micro-, meso- and macro-level for biobased technologies."


On 25th June 2019, Laura Borge sucessfully defended her thesis titled "Assessing technology transfer in the interdisciplinary setting of the bioeconomy: A concise study using disciplinary, stakeholder and technology perspectives."
