I am a PhD student competent in analysing the farm-level effects of novel technology on farm structures, farm sustainability and efficiency. Particularly, I am interested in contributing knowledge on how to make the agricultural sector more environmentally sustainable.

Affiliated to the Institute for Food and Resource Economics. My research largely focuses on assessing farm-level effects of novel technology and assessing efficiency using Data Envelopment Analysis.

I worked part-time, parallel with my studies, at the Department of Economics to be in the project group for developing a new bachelor’s program at SLU.

I worked on a survey on the municipalities’ nature conservation efforts, a project that I started during my internship one semester earlier.

Organized events and Workshops

  • Planned and hosted a workshop for PhDs during the Phenorob project Retreat (Bonn, 2022).
  • Led the organization of a getaway for all PhDs in Phenorob. Organized and hosted a workshop during the getaway (Limburg, 2022).
  • Organized a reading club on causal identification together with a colleague (Bonn, 2021-2022)
  • Organized a talk with Professor Helena Hansson for PhDs (Online, 2021).
  • Organized an Alumni-event inviting alumni from the environmental economics master’s program together with the other board members (Uppsala, 2019).

Skills and experiences

  • Computer skills: MS Office – Very good knowledge; R – Very good knowledge.
  • Language Skills: Swedish – Native (C2), English – Fluent (C1), German – Intermediate knowledge (B1).
  • Writing skills: I have participated in various courses on academic writing and communication and gained experience writing scientific papers and reports.
  • Organizational skills and project management: From independently managing my PhD project while also having other responsibilities such as acting as PhD representative and managing student assistants.
  • Leadership skills: I have demonstrated leadership skills by employing student assistants (one during 2021 and two during 2023) and by acting as a student representative in Phenorob 2022-23. I have also taken several soft-skill courses on how to become a better leader. I am eager to improve my leadership skills further and envisage myself in a position where I can use them in the future.
